Interior Design in Decatur!

I photographed this home in Decatur just before Thanksgiving last year and it was a joy to do so!  The spaces were bright yet still cozy, uncluttered and perfectly staged.  So many good angles!   I photographed several rooms and a couple of bathrooms for the home owner/designer.  Here are some of my favorite photos (click to enlarge):

Classy Bathrooms & Editing Out Reflections

I photographed these lovely, clean, classy bathrooms a few months ago. I love photographing uncluttered spaces – I feel like some of the work has already been done simply because the spaces are so tidy, light and breathable. It can be a lot of fun to photograph colorful rooms, but white and grey are by far the easiest colors to photograph and edit. I did some compositing to remove unwanted reflections. Custom Cabinet Photography

Every time I photograph a carefully staged home I am, to some degree or another, photographing somebody’s interior design. However, I haven’t actually done much straight up interior design photography. My main focus is usually to show potential buyers how all of the rooms flow together, how the spaces relate to each other. In this case I was photographing a kitchen and bathroom for a cabinet designer.
